Runescape Got A Sequel To An 18-Year-Old Quest

On July 26, Old School RuneScape players witnessed the launch of Desert Treasure 2 – The Fallen Empire, marking the MMO’s first Grandmaster quest since 2019Come from Sports betting site VPbet. The sequel to the 2005 quest, Desert Treasure 2 immerses players in the depths of the Kharidian Desert as they explore a vault linked to the Zarosian empire, facing the Mahjarrat. Eurogamer was first to report.

Old School RuneScape is known for its branching lore which deviates from its modern counterpart due to its archives being based on 2007 data. Consequently, quests released after that date do not exist in Old School RuneScape, granting developers the freedom to craft distinct stories and explore overlapping narratives.
